FAQ

What is most important to you?

I love to work with couples who understand the value of an image and are open to ideas to allow me to be creative in order to capture the fun and unique images to document their story. Many of life’s best moments are unexpected so I am always anticipating and seeking these moments.

Do you only cover destination weddings?

No, I am based in London, so I do shoot throughout the UK. Approximately 50% of my work is destination weddings.

What is your photography style?

80% of the time I use a wedding photojournalism approach while influenced by fine-art and fashion photography. I love using creative lighting, unique perspectives, compositions and artistic post production to bring out our clients personalities and beauty while telling their wedding story. I pride myself on not just being a photographer, but rather an artist creating unique and expressive imagery. To see examples of the quality and style you can expect, please visit my portfolio.

Do you offer pre-wedding photos or post wedding photoshoots?

Yes, of course, pre-wedding engagement photoshoots are a great way to get to know each other and to get comfortable in front of the camera. You can also use your images for invitations or signing albums. A post wedding shoot is a great excuse to get back into your dress and go to a location which means a lot to you which you may have been unable to visit on the day.

How do we go about discussing our wedding in more detail?

Most questions can be answered over Skype video call or email, I do travel a lot so I may not always be physically available to meet face to face straight away.

Faq destination weddingsHow can we meet to discuss our wedding?

If you are having a UK wedding we can first talk over the phone or Skype video call to Introduce ourselves, or even better to arrange to meet in person. I am based in North London 60% of the time. If you’re having an overseas wedding we can Skype video call, email, or talk over the phone.

How long does it take to receive our images?

I take great pride to have a quick turnaround time which is why I have a limit to 30 weddings per year. I will post a teaser after a few days as I know you will be excited to see them! Usually within 10 days you will receive your online proofing and 21 days if you are downloading your images.

Do you offer Albums and Prints?

Yes! I always shoot with an album in mind, to tell your story. A lot of thought and creativity goes into the album design to create a natural flow to the album and I take a lot of pride in them. Please look at my album section to get an idea.

Do I need to book the flights?

I usually book my own flights as I like to get the best deal but If you’d like to use your travel miles/rewards and book those flights on your own, I would just like to ask that you send me the flight information ahead of time just so that I may approve the details (flight times, transfers etc.).

Wouldn’t it be easier to hire a wedding photographer who is already local to the location of my wedding?

Not necessarily. I believe it’s very important to have constant communication with your photographer from sharing ideas you love to details about your wedding day. If you have any questions before or after the wedding I will always be here to answer whether it’s over the phone or Skype video call. I always love to get to know my clients beforehand, which helps build trust and helps me reflect their personalities when capturing their wedding.

Will you put my work on social media?

A lot of my work comes through social media, such as Facebook, Instagram and my blog. I like to feature my favourite images but if you have a particular reason why you prefer me not to do this then please chat to me about this in advance and we can work something out.

How do we go about booking?

Once you have confirmed in writing and secured a deposit, you are all booked in.
